ARIES : The Most Eligible Bachelor/Bachelorette

I must confess, off late I have been too much into judging people on the basis of their sun sign, so here i am writing my last blog of 2011 on the First Sun Sign of the Horoscope: Aries, some of my closest friends are Aries and i must confess they sweep me of my feet by impressing even the most difficult parents in the world.

Alright let me get into the detailed description, out of all the sun signs, Aries are most accommodating people, they don’t crib too much about life, money or for that matter boyfriend/Girlfriends, they are happy and content with their life.

Professionally 
Most of the Aries I know are hardworking though they not on stellar positions still I am surprised by their level of content, they know how to prioritize things, so given an option of a job with extremely high salary but no time for family and a job with a decent salary but where you can spend time with your family and friends, they will always choose the latter one.

 Personally 

Relations are very important to them but at the same time they are not over emotional people, once they move from one place to other or from one relation to other, they make new friends and kind of forget the old ones but when they meet the old ones they again meet so politely that you even can’t complain.

Lastly the biggest and the trait about Aries which I Envy the most is that there Face value is Huge, by Face Value I don’t mean looks. If there is this Girl/ Guy in your office or Friends which everyone says is the best person to marry, I can bet he/she would be Aries, just find an Aries girl or a guy and introduce them to your parents and even if you don’t want your parents would love you to marry him/her

On a lighter note if you have an Aries Girlfriend/ Boyfriend and you are not ready to marry yet, never introduce them to your family because you might not be ready but your family would die to make him/her their son/daughter- in law :)

All in all some of my best buddies are Aries; they (mostly my female Aries Friends) get jealous easily when their boyfriend talk to other Girls, they are my biggest Critics yet follow my blogs :) , and out of all the Sun Signs only they have the right to call me SADIST.

Are we ready for Revolution 2020 ?

Even i try to make sure,i don't throw waste anywhere on the road just like that (even though is is because of  friend who stopped me for 3 long years ) because if no one throws,the entire country would be clean.
That is what you mean by Revolution, in the book it majorly meant revolution against Corruption and i would completely agree with the Author that Corruption is slowly and steadily eating our money (paid in taxes)

Question is let's be Practical and ask ourselves,are we really ready for it ??
1. I and most of us do not know how to drive a car, but i have a valid Driving License
2. I have been caught thrice for not wearing Helmet (Thanks to Ankit) and got away in 100 bugs imagine paying 600 or 1600  for it
3. Some of those who travel often imagine,it would have impossible to get a seat in train without T.C
4.   Try to move file a government file from one table to another(without bribe) and then you will realize.

My Solution
I know most of my friends would laugh at me giving solution (honestly Even i am not able to control my laughter that i , who can't handle my own life is trying to give a solution :):) lets try be serious okay !!)

1, Make Fees for making Driving License 20,000 (19,000 should go to metro and Public Transport) who want to have it without test.By that ways most of the people like me,would prefer learning it in 1500 and get license issued it 1000.
2. Increase the salary of goverment employee thrice (my mother is goverment employee :)) and make it Fixed + Performance based who so ever has worked on maximum files should get incentive (why would they want bribe when govt is giving them one for overperforming)
3. Least but but we are overly populated for small area India holds,so all those who can afford lets try to settle in every part of the world , so that there is place for everyone and world is equally divided

What's ur Sunsign ??

I normally judge people by there sunsign, in my today's blog i will try to write personality traits of every susign based upon my personal experience, just tell me if am right or not
1. Aquarius : I hate them the most :), these are the people for whom even perfection is an understatement , they believe in being overcomitted to everything they do, you can't compete with them in any area, they make best of friends, lovers and kids.On a serious note my brother and some of my best friends are Aquarians and they  priceless possessions.Never compete with them you can't win :)
2. Pisces : I am a Pisces both by my sun sign and moon sign, Pisces are extremely sensitive and comforting,they can make anyone around them feel comfortable. Pisces are not very successful in their careers but they prioritize things,if client is important, family can wait and when family is important job can wait.My both the Managers are also Pisces !!
3. Aries :The first sun sign of Horoscope, and i can easily say Aries make the best partners for life. Most of the Aries i have come across are extremely supportive, if they have to chose between ego  and a friend (or someone special ) they would not mind keeping there ego aside. Any parent's would love there girl or boy getting married to an Aries
4. Taurus :  Extremely extremely Supportive,Taurus knows how to emphatize with people, they are too much selfless people,you can share your pain, happiness or sorrow , they are all ears. Sometimes overcalculative and can't hurt anyone even if people ditch them.
5. Gemini : Over secretive people, they always belive there pain is only theirs and don't believe in sharing much, quiet people who inspite of being in a group are aloof. Gemini are exteremely patient and everyone in group like them because they never do or say something which would hurt anyone, even thier best of friends do not know what is going in their life
6. Cancer : Patient listeners,all the sunsigns go and talk to cancerians, sometime even there family or wives or GF gets irritated why are they so sweet to everyone but this is how they are made they can't say NO to anyone. Without even slightest of effort they become everyone's best friend

I guess I have already wrote so much in this blog rest of the six i will write tomorrow its already 1 am in the morning :)

4P's of Life

Just to give a brief background 4 P's is a famous marketing concept and they stand for 1. Place 2. Product 3. Price 4. Promotion  but this is not what i am planning to write, i am trying to become kotler (I know its funny but don't laugh alrgyt :) ), i am at a stage of life where i have realized life also has 4 extremely important P's

Before i write further i would confess,this blog might be boring for most of you but can't help it, i m in kind of a serious mood and am not able  to resist writing this one.
1. People : This  is the most important P, it stands for those who are around you and there presence is inevitable. It Includes Family, friends, special one's (Salim bhai our chai walla heheheh ) and all those around you without which you can't really survive

2 Payslip :  This is for most of the people who are of my age, trust me it is important no matter how good your company is, no matter how good you are paid, you will keep hunting for better
further obviously it is important for most of we delhities who love to party,spend and flaunt

 3. Priorities : There was a time when my priority was playing, and roaming around just like that but now i would prefer writing a blog or spending time with family or watching movie :)), i am sure in few years it would be even more different like changing diapers :):)

4. Problems : When i was in my first job i used to crib about work,i used to be there in office by 8 A.M (Obish and Rahul Stop laughing !! ) and used to stay till late now i am in a job where i work for 8 hours a day still i crib that when would i get my increment etc etc

These are the new 4P's of my life and guest most of the friends who are of my age,but i would like to add if we accept these 4 P's and manage to get these 4 P's Right,our life would be in much better position

I know today's blog was boring but as said by a famous person "yaar life me kabhi kabhi toh serious hona banta hai yaar"

Are we Really Equal ??

I must confess i am nervous trying to touch the most sensitive topic and i will try to be overly cautious while writing this blog.

In my Yesterday's Blog there was a paragraph "It beautifully depicts the side of the Indian girl" , i could have written a lo...t more there but i resisted myself because this do demand a dedicated blog.If you look at the movie more closely both Ranbir and Nargis decide "chal gand machate hai "

In real life this is how guys are most of us do not care about daaru pee k drive karna or night out marna or say Jungli jawani (for that matter ) because we are not stopped but when it comes to girl we are overly biased,every guy love to see a girl smoking but he does'nt want his girlfriend or wife to smoke, similarly i guess in most of parts of India, it is impossible for girls to be themsleves.

Honeslty if we are allowed to drink,smoke and enjoy all the things in life let girls enjoy whatever they want to do in life, there definition of enjoyment would be different and it might be as small as going out with friends, allowed to to talk on phone without fear , nightouts  but when it comes to their enjoyment we all (including me) take out pen and paper and start judging them This is Right, This is Wrong  , i would say if i am 24 and i take my decisions so let girls decide when and with whom they want to talk, let them be themselves

To conclude this i would like to say that slowly and steadily we are maturing, my 3 female friends are going to GOA, even i thought 3 girls going alone !! but if you think openly if four guys (my brother and his friends ) can go all the way to Bangok alone why can't three girls go to goa ?

 i wish she and her friends have a wonderful vacation and other girls should also be given this much freedom so that it no longer remains a big deal

I hope i am able to do justification to my topic, wat say ?

Ranvir do look like a real Rockstar- Amazing Act

Before i begin,i must confess movie dekhte hi first thought that came across my mind was "Yaar life me 1 baar Guitar Seekhna toh banta hai",  and the reason as quoted by Ranvir Baba "Ek baar aap rockstar ban gaye to saari duniya aapk peeche, girls shouting your name on top of their voice,aapne ek baar middle finger dikhai toh it becomes a news"

Movie has a perfect and amazing begining "Yaar meri life me toh koi dard hi nhi hai, khane ki kabhi problem nhi hui,acha khasa transport ka business hai and main toh Adpoted bhi nhi hun :(  " he keeps looking for a pain that can make him a Rockstar then movie focus towards actress, hottest and upwardly girl of the college.
It beautifully depicts the side of the Indian girl who loves to hang out and be herself without any inhibition, i am sure  every girl would love to have such a free outing but family, friends and culture stops her from being herself.
Rest of the movie is all about the passion and love the two share however the ending was a bit ambigious(First time in my life i waited for screen to go black even rightnow i am assuming theatre did not had the entire print of the movie)  i guess director wanted everyone to conclude an end which they liked :).

All in all 11/10 for Ranbir (he s true rockstar) , Nargis was not able to deliver (but i guess her looks compensated for that ,it was feast to watch her on big screen and she reminded me of  my close college friend ) and Music is the USP of the Movie,it runs throughout the movie and you will miss it if it is not in background, Cheers to A.R. Rehman, he is truely the god  of Indian music

I am certainly going to watch it again :)

Prices of Petrol going up is a step in a right direction !!

With Limited knowledge of Finance that i have, me writing this article doesn't make sense,but still after watching news for 2 hours, i could not stop myself writing this blog.
Prime Minster Manmohan singh said the "Prices of Petrol should be dependent upon actual market rate and government should not deregulate the Prices"

I completely agree but then i would say THERE IS NO POINT TAKING ANY TAX from Indian Citizens
if we have to bear the cost of everything then what really is the point of giving tax, don't tax us and EFFECTIVE COST OF PETROL WOULD BE Rs 23/ Litre

Further looking at the Traffic on Roads, this would lead to less traffic on roads and less pollution also,so all in all it is a step in right direction

Steve Jobs or My Job ??

I know its quite late,its been more than a month since Steve Jobs (Founder of Apple ) left us but this question has been bothering me since then, so today here i am finally writing this post expressing my confusion.
Coming onto the Question whose life is better Steve jobs or a normal human being like me ??

Let me try an elaborate the both sides of the coin
One side
1. when Steve Jobs departed almost entire world go to know about it
2. So many people were in grief
3. As they say Steve jobs touched so many lives

Other Side 

1. There would have been thousand other people who departed on the same day nobody cares !!
2. I must admit that if you are touching so many lives (like Steve Jobs) sometimes you are not able to spend time with your near one's who really matters

So define who do you want to become in life and lead it in that manner, I still don't know who i want to be still trying to figure out, do YOU ??

Aakash is the Limit (Sky is the limit)

Al rite i will be honest,i have read the Idiom (Sky is the Limit) numerous time but understood the meaning of this Idiom before writing this article (It means there is no limit or something which has unlimited potential).

Now I am coming onto the Article, we knew the about the project Aakash long time back,in fact we  were waiting for this Article to Publish for people to understand why an NGO distributing Free E Books is a Noble Cause. And YES Aakash is the Cornerstone of FreeEbooksIndia.com, Aakash would ensure Tablet to everyone in the country and   FreeEbooksIndia.com would ensure those who have Aakash don't need to spend upon books.

Now here comes a Question,In a country like India where rural people who have access to electricity only for   4-5 hours a day, providing tablet and Free E Books makes sense ??

Reading the Criticism for Aakash in today's TOI,i can easily say some of you will agree with me, others will not,in fact  i was also given this explanation by a volunteer of FreeEbooksIndia.com, so i am just quoting her words here.

"It is the Middle Class that values the education most ". (Sorry if i am being offensive to anyone)

If you are extremely upwardly then you focus more on learning how money works,instead of reading newton's law :) :), if you belong to less privileged then studies might not  be your priority,  you would like to meet end's first(earn the basic necessities of  life) and then focus on study and Books.

So i would not mind standing up and say Aakash and FreeEbooksIndia.com is a step towards better society and it makes sense to me and all our volunteers. :)

Day 1 in the Life of a good Sales Person

Today is the first day i have tried to become more personal and not tried to sell anything and Honestly it Rocks Man !!!
I did not pushed myself upon others for contribution and in fact i called an Old friend and while we were discussing life and then while talking,she asked about FreeEbooksIndia.com,what is it etc etc .I told her the idea, in fact she liked the idea so much that,she said she will refer it to her friends who can't afford to go extremely expensive mode of advertising, which made me feel good YES we are not charging any cost,we are saying contribute whatever you think is Justified.
NO CONTRIBUTION IS BIG OR SMALL !!

And now i am feeling that yes it a noble cause for Contributor as well. and i could not stop smiling since then  :):) 

How to become a good Sales Person

I know everyone who is close to me would be surprised by reading the Title, Alright i confess YES I HATE SELLING ,may be this is why i decided that when it comes to Contribution for FreeEbooksIndia.com,i will do selling and that too most difficult sales in this world Ad-Sales.
During these 15 days I learnt the Art of Sales (I have not even sold a single ad for FreeEbooksIndia.com :) ) and from tomorrow i will start implementing it.
Rule 1:
1. Be a good person first only then you will be able to become Good Sales Person, Ankit is the very good at heart,people connect with him very well, if he will offer something everyone will Trust Him,so he can be a good salesperson, Similarly Sanjeev Bansal sir is extremely successful and popular because he is a good person so rule is become a good person first. 
2. Don't Sell : Even for this good cause for AAP and FreeEbooksIndia.com , i got into the sales mode and today i am realizing  i was wrong, Golden Rule is try to find someone who needs you and you need him, example one of my Amity friend will get definitely benefited by   FreeEbooksIndia.com and we would get contribution and user will get free e books, so everyone Happy :)
3. Be a good Presenter: Contributor will get benefited immensely but if you are not able to tell and Quantify his benefits its your fault so be a good presenter only then you can become a good salesperson.

Wikipedia- Not my cup of Tea

You all would be surprised by the title, as most of you believe,Wikipedia is the best source of Information for anything and everything (I also believe so !!) but my experience writing a wiki has been very bad . When i joined AAP,I decided lets write a wiki for it,people will get to know more about AAP its causes and contribution towards society,it took me 8 hours to write the Article but it was deleted,as they thought it was more of a Publicity,
Yesterday almost after 1 year,i gathered myself again (Even after long and tiring day ) to write a wiki article for FreeEbooksIndia.com , i promised myself i  will try to be more neutral.
I worked till 2 in the morning, writing an Article and today to my surprise even before i could edit that article for making its more neutral i was gone !!.

So i promise myself that i will not write article on Wiki again in my life (At least i can resist myself for 1 more year  :) :) ), but i can  assure that freeEbooksIndia.com would become such a good initiative for humanity that people will write about us on Wiki

Mausam or No Mausam

I know  the blog title says freeEbooksIndia.com, but i guess i can write anything thing in it since i m not a professional and am new to the blog.
I heard a line somewhere "Life is a journey,so enjoy the journey and don't worry about the Destination"
My days are passing by very fast 5 daz in office and rest 2 to freeEbooksIndia.com so after a lo.....ng time i decided to enjoy the journey and  go for a movie, so i went on to see "Mausam"

Anything which i will write is my personal opinion and i give due respect to Pankaj Kapoor sir he has been in Industry before even i was born so no offense.
 Mausam is a good movie one time watch,especially if you are a Punjabi.
, if you had (or have ) a Muslim girlfriend then to it is mandate.
The Movie is love story of 90's but pankaj sir has tried to include every incident be it mumbai blast,kargil war,WTC (9/11) or Godhra kand which was too difficult for me to digest

secondly it is more like a daily soap where everything goes wrong with hero and heroine,we also have a vamp  only the end is happy, so my mother enjoyed the movie a lot

but I don't think today's youth believe in such selfless love but overall a good movie to watch,amazing effort to mix love and sensitive inter-religion topic

There is an old saying if you have money in pocket, you can buy anything in the world, I Disagree !!


We are coming up with FreeEbooksIndia.com in few days but after hunting for almost 15 days i m still not able to find a good Vendor who can provide us all the E books on Earth at one platform,

At this stage we cannot contact publishers directly so want one vendor who can handle request for hundreds of e book and provide them in 2-3 working days , if any of the owner of Good e books firm is reading this post

One more Challenge for FreeebooksIndia.com

Hi ,
Sometimes conducting a survey demotivates you or shall i say show you the mirror upfront,
I have asked about 15 odd people about the idea, every body said,good idea,noble cause, new definition of NGO or New Age NGO but when i asked them about their experience of E Books,all (People Living in this side  of the Globe i.e. in India ) prefer  reading through hard copy because they think reading through Laptop is such a pain  (Alright it is my idea and  i myself confess even i prefer to read physical book instead of E book )
but when i gave it a deeper though, i evaluated Pros and cons
Pros : 1. E Books are handy, you can navigate to specific section 2. FreeebooksIndia.com is buying and giving it for FREE !! 3 . I have my Bed full of Books i dont know whom to give those books and dont want to throw the books but  i get scolded everyday to remove these books and clean the cupboard 4 . Thousand of trees need to be cut to make those books

Cons : 1. It is Indeed  pain to read through e books 2. You can't read  it while traveling 3. Feel nahi aati yaar (9 PEOPLE SAID THIS !!)

So i decided that i will try (not promise) to distribute free hard copies of books as well at least,we will still be curbing piracy and making knowledge free

Sustainability of FreeEbooksIndia.com

When we (Team of FreeEbooksIndia.com ) met for the first time and discussed about the Initiative,all of us were dicey whether there would be traffic on our website or Not,

But as we went  onto refining the idea , after 14 daz of Inception of FreeEbooksIndia.com  i.e Today all friends who are close to me and also who have volunteered to be a part of  FreeEbooksIndia.com think it will have Huge Audience and is a great Initiative 

but everyone ask us 1 Question !!

If there would be too much audience,will we able to cater to them, ? i.e.  for how long we will be able to sustain FreeEbooksIndia.com ?

My Only answer is Facebook,  Google, Linked In, Twitter all of them are free if they were able to sustain why can't we  !!

so i hope that by  God's Grace and support of the Team and our Volunteers FreeEbooksIndia.com will become the biggest initiative by ANY NGO in the world

because for  AAP.... We Care.

Are Books Really Free ?

This is my Question to all the Internet users out there who have ever in there  goggled "Free E Books "
Have you ever thought why would any author, any publisher  would give a book  which cost them huge money to you for free ?
I am not saying all books which are available on net are illegal, but i am not able to understand how they are Free ?
I am not trying to Publicize about FreeEbooksIndia.com but honestly it is an initiative which will benefit one and all
1. FreeEbooksIndia.com will buy numerous copies of the Book so Author + Publisher Happy :)
2. FreeEbooksIndia.com will distribute it to its users for free so users happy :)
3. Even if we are able to convert 1 person towards E Book,Trees will be happy
4. AAP (You !!) Happy so we (FreeEbooksIndia.com)  Happy

Venky Rocks !!

I have done my schooling from DAV, then graduation from Venky then MBA from Amity 

but out of these, i must say i m  most proud of being a Venkite. 

I went there for celebrating the Birthday of a friend and at the same time discussing idea of FreeEbooksIndia.com with my teachers who have always mentored me, i went there to ask them, Is FreeEbooksIndia.com really going to add some value to the education.

Honestly i was surprised by the reaction of my teachers,they liked the idea and are willing to associate with us

They thought FreeEbooksIndia.com will actually help in spreading education and is indeed a noble cause.

Last but not least walking through the by lanes of venky reminded me of my college days and made me proud to say YES I AM A VENKITE AND I AM PROUD OF BEING A ONE

Hi , before i begin let me tell give my brief intro, i am Business Analyst by Chance and Marketing Consultant by Choice :) . and from past 2years i have been associated with AAP International an NGO which believes in spreading free education.
Now coming onto my question around 3 weeks back i was looking for Kotler a marketing book for some of my marketing work, i tried it everywhere but could not find 1 website where i can get the legal copy of this book free.
This made me come up with an idea of FreeEbooksIndia.com.  FreeEbooksIndia.com would be a platform where i can buy books for students from the money collected from the donation and can make people smile
This will make FreeEbooksIndia.com an initiative towards greener, paperless world and we would also provide free e books to people who want to read but can't afford each and every books

so here i am with a Question shall i go ahead with FreeEbooksIndia.com,would all readers out there will move away from physical books to FreeEbooksIndia.com.
Please tell i have to convince all other volunteers of AAP about this idea :):)
